Michael & June Hubbocks- Chairman

Dear Friends.

I would like to thank all members for their support as I start my third year as your Chairman.   Special thanks go to members who have stood for election to work with me over the next year, to take the centre forward.

The 2008 season has come and gone, were did the time go?  The weather was not kind to us at all, but the rallies that were cancelled were again not of our making.   Let’s hope the weather for 2009 season is better than it has been over the last two years.

In 2009 we will hold the Centre’s Chairman’s Charity Rally, which is being held at Berkhamstead Hockey Club.   The Charity I have chosen is the Keech Cottage Children’s Hospice in Luton.   The charity was chosen, as both June and I do voluntary work for them, working for the fundraising team.

I would personally take this opportunity to thank all members who have volunteered to run rallies for the forthcoming season.

Both June and I wish you and your families a very happy Christmas and prosperous New Year, and look forward to seeing you all on the rally field in 2009.
